yahoo messenger error 0x80004005

I have Windows 7 Ulitmate and my yahoo messenger has just recently stopped working it will not allow me to see what is being written and when I type in the regsvr32. it tells me this error message anyone know how I can go about fixing that so I can get back on messenger?

0x80004005 = access denied. Open the Elevated Command Prompt and try again (open command prompt as Administrator - create a shortcut on your desktop and link it to 'cmd', then right click the shortcut and say run as administrator).

Is that all you see on the error message? Can you post a screenshot of this please?

I had a similar problem, and running cmd.exe as administrator solved it.
