Hi everyone,My 64bit system died as a result of a power outage yesterday during a download

The good news is it came back ok after a restart

The bad news is that Int'Exp refuses to work even though I am connected to the net

1 I tried to reset IE through tools/options/advanced and then reset
2 I tried to uninstall the ie update through "programes and features" as per one of the directions I was given through the help section but it wasn't there
(The idea was to uninstall ie and reinstall it again)
3 So I decided to d/l a new version of ie and install that.......Didn't work at all.
I uninstalled that and tried firefox and guess what..............Didn't work either!
Having taken all the above into account something happened to ie in the crash so when I click on ie I just get "IE cannot open web page"
I do have an install disc and various other repair disks but I sure there must be a better way to solve this...can anyone help please
