WLM only allows you to import ONE e-mail address?

I am importing a CSV file from another e-mail client into WLM. When I get to the field mapping box the default "Text Field "column only allows for one e-mail address. Yet if you open an imported contact in WLM (or create a new contact) the Contact Tab allows for 3 separate e-mails -- Personal e-mail, Work e-mail, and Other e-mail.

I have tried to see if there is a way to add a text field in the mapping window but to no avail. How do I import the other e-mails I have for my contacts into their respective fields???

The other email client creates the .csv file. If it only exports one address I guess that's all it can do. What email program is it?

In WLM, you must have a Windows Live ID, either @hotmail.com or @live.co.uk If not in UK, it will be Hotmail.com
Once signed in, you can add your own email address & password (multiple addresses allowed for any type) If you do not want to use the hotmail account, it can be removed. If using more than one address, set one as default.
If your email account can, I suggest POP3 instead of IMAP.

Roderunner, I'm not interested in a web-based usage of Hotmail for my e-mail client. I registered for WLM - is that what you mean by a WL ID?

Are you saying if I sign up for Hotmail that is somehow going to add more e-mail addresses fields in my computer-based WLM software???

With a Windows Live ID e.g. hotmail.com even if you are not using it in WLM, it stores your contacts, so you dont need to enter them manually per email.
I use WLM with my Hotmail account removed but still signed it, to send/receive using my Gmail account.

Have you tried, with only WLM, to create a contact with all 3 email addresses, then export it, delete it, and import it? Do you then loose 2 of the addresses?
