So I bought Mass Effect 2...

So, I decided to start a complete new game of Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2.

I am just now finishing ME1 again, (should be done in next couple hours) and will be importing my character to ME 2 and starting fresh there.

Before I start however, I was curious what DLCs everyone would reccomend the most.

I already have quite a few DLCs, including Lair of the Shadow Broker, which I have yet to play through. So Shadow Broker will be my first play through. (I wanted to save it for a fresh play through of the game)

So Im looking to pick up a couple more. Aside from the Alternate appearance packs 9I already have the rest) Im missing:
Arrival, Overlord & Kasumi.

Ill likely only get 2 atm, and was thinking of Arrival and Overlord ... or would Kasumi be a better choice for one of these 2?

Any advice appreciated. Thanks :)

You want Arrival as it's a prelude to Mass Effect 3. You also want to play this one last.

Between Kasumi and Overlord it's a tough call as to which one to get. But Kasumi adds a player to your team, whereas Overlord is just a mission. With that said if I had to choose one of those DLC's I'd take Kasumi as she has some nice skills.

Overlord isn't bad though - http://www.sevenforums.com/gaming/58774-so-i-bought-mass-effect-2-a-10.html#post800053

My two cents

Much appreciated :)

I ended up deciding on Kasumi Stolen Memory, and Arrival for now.
may pick up Overlord at a later date, but from what Im reading, theres alot of driving in it, and Im really not a big fan of that myself.
So Kasumi may be more fitting for my preferences.

Thanks for the tips!

There's quite a lot of previews coming out for ME3 now. There's a lengthy one in PC Gamer magazine this month, and it included a few things I found to be spoilers about the setting of this game, which I'm annoyed to have read, lol.

Yeah I saw a couple of other places which gives a fair amount of detail on the game.

Anyway I usually don't read reviews on games I'm really interested in until after I play the game so I probably won't be reading those - That's me.
