1 thing i've also noticed is that if you create a folder (e.g. Terminator Salvation) in a monitored folder then Yammm instantly starts the remaming & downloading process :p

Even before you've moved the file to the folder

yea its pretty quick. When i have to edit a movie that got named something different, especially if it has more than one part/cd to it, you are in for a wild un-ending ride until you disable the service or exclude the monitored folder. I was trying to beat yammm... i was/am probably 99% loser to yammm..... i think yammm is on the juice, lol, hehehe.

I'm not too sure, i haven't tried it with any HD formats. I'll look into it :D

Update: Just sent a message to the creator but I know he's got a lot on at the minute so may take some time to reply.

Not a problem, I have the code already done for appending 720p, 1080i, 1080p as tags. Would that work?

And I apologize for the lack of responds on the forums, my wedding was yesterday so I've had a busy week. I'll try to respond to all questions on Tuesday and get back to nightly releases.

yeah anything would be great as long as it makes it easy to distinguish between hd and sd movies

like in the movie guide it has the the little hd badge down by the time its showing
Capture.PNG

which is nice but being able to tell which are 720 1080 and all that good stuff would be nice to maybe if you go into more details for that information..?

To give a little more information I am planning to do a couple things:

1- Maintain a master list of "tags". Sick Mambo over at tgb has provided a pretty extensive list of tags. Users will be able to add\remove from this list.

2- Allow users to specify which tags to strip from a folder name and which to keep. i.e. Keep: 720p, 1080p, 1080i, Blu-ray, HD-DVD Strip: XViD, Widescreen, P&S...

3- Inspect the movie file(s) to determine the movie format (Blu-ray, HD-DVD, DVD, Rip, ...), total runtime, resolution and HD versus SD.

4- Optionally append any of the items from #3 as a tag. i.e. [DVD], [1080p]

5- Option to combine all tags into a single "tag"

i.e. 七人の侍 (1954) [Seven Samurai] [Criterion Collection]
七人の侍 (1954) [Seven Samurai, DVD, Criterion Collection]

Thoughts?

Sounds a lot like media center master , or salami's movie organizer

I should have a new release available tomorrow or Thursday, I still have some post-wedding cleanup at home to take care of so not sure which day.

Please send any additional feature requests.

Orbital Shark- I've included a context menu for scanning folders.

yes - have windows7 7100 installed - checking event log now

UPDATE - .netfrmaework 3.5 is definately installed and running fromwhat everything says - cant read the event viewer is gives an error - maybe because i am connected to my server. I'm going to upgrade to 7260 today ro tomorrow with a fresh install, maybe that will help as I also have the problem -"not for this thread" of not being able to view movies through wmc - only trailers, but can watch same films on wmp. must be a codec prblem.

Thanks, mikinho

Keep me posted. I plan on rebuilding two of my PCs this weekend so I'll check as well to ensure I didn't introduce a bug on new builds.
