Can't Restore Or Repair Windows 7

Someone told me to download this program to delete this rootkit virus thing. So I did that, and I had to restart to delete it, and now in stuck on the system repair screen. It says "startup repair cannot repair computer automatically" and I click "finish" and it restarts, and goes right back to the startup repair. I can't start windows normally. I click F7 and then F8 so I can runwindows normally, but once I click f8 it gies back to system repair.

So I have the windows 7 repair disc, and I put it in and click system restore but it says "no restore points have been created on your computers system drive. To create a restore point open system protection"

So I'm stuck, I can't restore, it doesnb repair! What do I do without losing my files??

I hate to say that, but I think you are in for a reinstall since it sounds like you did not take any system backups at all. The problem with a virus is that even if you succeed to remove it, you cannot easily repair the damage it made. Before you reinstall you may want to recover your data with a live Linux CD - e.g. this one https://help.ubuntu.com/community/LiveCD

I can't run the tool, because I can't get online to download it. Like I said, I'm stuck on system repair every time I start the computer.

Can't you download it and burn the CD on another system. Then you have to load it on your defunct system from the CD reader (change the boot sequence in the BIOS).

With the instructions in the link you can use any distro. But maybe the CD version here will fit the bill: http://www.linuxmint.com/download.php
