When i first purchased the computer it worked fine for maybe 1 week - 4 weeks, then i got the first BSOD. I thought it was just gonna happen one time so i didnt really pay attention to it. Then i asked my mate who has the EXACT same PC as me if he had any BSOD's, he said he had 3 so far.

After that i started getting them more and more often, at the end it was one BSOD every day, and i googled for solution but didnt really find any that actually worked, i tried everything.

Then i kinda panicked and reinstalled Windows 7, after install and a few restarts i got a BSOD... But after i updated drivers etc. it seemed like it was fixed. I got a BSOD a week after, and had 2 more after it.

System specs:

No DMP files included in the upload try this method.

To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
OK your way out.
Reboot if changes have been made.

The problem is that it didnt leave any dump files, i thought the program this forum told me to download would help, didnt understand anything, it just said "1 file(s) copied" so i assumed it had found something and just uploaded it all here. If i get a new BSOD, wich is very likely, ill upload the dump from that.

Sorry for bad english, im from Norway ;)

Sorry for always BUMP'ing this thread, but during a match of Heroes of Newerth recently, i kept freezing for 2 - 4 seconds maybe every 1 - 2 minutes. I was constantly afraid i was gonna get BSOD again, and also had a small hope so i can get the dump, but i never got one.

Also i heard a beep after the first freeze, does that mean something?

EDIT: I found out It's the game, sorry for not checking before posting :(

There, it happened again, after a week, almost 2 weeks. But it wasn't a BSOD, but a hard freeze, i had to press the power button for 4 seconds.

Also i recently used CCleaner to clean my HDD, can that affect anything?

As i said, it lasted WAAAY longer than before, but again, it didnt leave a minidump, even i followed zigzag3143's advice, it still didnt leave any dumps. :(

Just checking.... Wat lasted waaay longer? The freeze or the file gathering of Griff's stuff? Still there should be stuff to upload even if there is no dmp file...

Oh, forgot about that, i meant that the PC "lasted" way longer. There was a longer time between the last freeze.

Another quick check... could you be more specific on when these freezes happen? Is it ONLY at gaming?
Have you checked if the inside of your PC isn't dusty so the fans, specifically the one for the videocard aren't working well? have you/are you able to check the temperatures on your system?

If you need any help on these questions, please post back, we'll lead you through it, step by step.

Most of them happen when gaming, but it can happen if i have multiple windows open, like listening to music while logged on to Steam, MSN, Skype etc.

This last time it happened when i was chatting with someone in MSN, and i changed music, then tried to open firefox, it completely froze, but im pretty sure my CPU can handle that.

I've also turned off my CPU Phase Mode since last time, cos I heard it would help.

I have checked the inside of the PC a few weeks back, it was a tiny bit of dust, not so much it would affect anything.

And yes, I am able to check temperatures on my system, at summer it's usually around 30 - 35 Celcius when surfing and listening to music etc. Never seen it over 50 even during gaming. At winter it stays at 27 Celcius most of the time.

To be entirely sure: do you also check your GPU temp's and not only CPU?

Never checked my GPU's temp while playing, but while just surfing and listening to music etc, it should be the almost the same as the CPU, around 32 - 37 Celcius.
Right now its 35, so its fine.
