Reinstallation of W-LAN driver doesn't work

Hi,
I´ve got some problem with my W-LAN device. Recently I´ve got a strange feeling about it because some things didn´t work correctly, so I decided to reinstall the driver. It didn´t work directly (I don´t know why), so I tried to uninstall it first, to install it again. Now I got this message:

This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)

An update for the latest driver was useless because I already got the latest one. I tried both installing it from the device manager several times, which failed everytime with this message to come, and by the driver setup (there is a folder available on my computer with all drivers installed on it), which seemed not to have any effect, although it said "Installation complete". Has anyone a solution for me?
I´m going to reinstall my Windows soon, but it´ll take some weeks to that. But until that, I need my W-LAN to work again!
I´ve got Win 7 Home Premium 32bit, my W-LAN device is a Broadcom 802.11g, my notebook is a Lenovo G550.

Thanks for any help, Bennington

First go into Device Manager (right click on Computer and choose properties, then Device Manager), then go ahead and delete the Broadcom device under Network adapters. Then try and install only the most recent Lenovo supplied driver for your laptop model. Let us know how that goes...

I already tried it with deleting the driver first. I even tried uninstalling it manually (BTW I got the Setup for that driver). As soon as the system found the device, it fails and shows me the message with code 31.

P.S.: I´m not sure, but is that error somehow related with Broadcom devices? I found some device manager screenshots with Google, when I searched for code 31. Most of them had Broadcom as their (W-)LAN-driver.

Bennington, try the broadcom driver from here, Support Download. It should be OK.

Thank you Roderunner, but it still doesn´t work... I start to believe the driver are all OK, but it´s Windows which got problems with it. And it seems to concern all of my network devices.
WHY can´t Windows load the drivers?

It's probably what I call a LNBK error... (loose nut behind keyboard) did you check for that? LOL!

Seriously, Have you tried this OFFICIAL LENOVO driver??? http://download.lenovo.com/UserFiles/Driver/en/Downloads and Drivers/G450 G550/Win 7/IN2WLN50WW5.exe

I have no idea why Roderunner posted a link to a packard bell driver when you have a Lenovo, but use the official driver and let us know what happens. How old is this lappy? Another option is to reinstall your IP stack and check for other system file errors... http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/1538-sfc-scannow-command-system-file-checker.html

Also, if you have access to a friends or family members USB wireless NIC, try that and report the results here!

Lastly, where did you acquire your copy of Windows?

Yeah, I even tried the one from Lenovo Support. But thats exactly the same I got in the folder all of my driver setups. It still doesnt' work! I already said it has to be my system which causes the error, not the driver!
My uncle gave me that notebook one year ago, it wasn´t that old then. I don´t know where he got it (maybe from the IT company he´s working at).
I will try that SFC thing now.

EDIT: Neither the SFC nor a IP stack reinstallation did help me...
