What flash version? I know the stable 10 version has similar reported issues.
Use the flash 11 RC instead and see if that helps.

Just because it is a "stable" build doesn't mean it won't have bugs also. In fact, they most always do have some bugs - it's why newer versions come out for software all the time.
There's really no need to be afraid of it because it's a beta or RC. It's easy and safe enough to uninstall it and go back to the 10 version if it doesn't work out for you.
RC's or beta's are often just as stable, if not more so than the stable versions.
