Hi, all

For a while now i have been getting a 0x0000001E BSOD and I have no idea what is causing it. I've run memory tests, updated drivers for my GPU and ran a bunch of other tests, but the problem persists.
My pc is only 3 months old and it has been having this problem for over 2 months, so i figured the drivers would probably be up to date. At first the BSOD's only happened while using one program (second life), but recently it's shown up on other occasions as well, although I can't reliably recreate the error (which is what makes it so frustrating, since i have no idea what's causing it)
I hope someone here can help me.

Thanks in advance!

OS specs:
windows 7 64 bit home edition
original install
OEM version
system is 3 months old, so is the OS installation

It appears you are overclocking and if so stop. You have several different causes but if you are overclocking we have to fix that problem before we can work on the underlying causes.

Thanks for the quick response!
I figured that might be causing the problem and I lowered the settings so the CPU shouldnt exceed its standard performance.

If the dmp happened after you returned to default please upload it

here is a DMP file from before I messed with any of the overclocking options. If it shows they were already on, I will have to try and recreate the error again and attach a DMP of that. I hope it doesn't take too long, sometimes it happens three times in a single day and then nothing happens for several days

so far I havent had any problems, so it might have been due to the overclocking after all. Should I have this thread closed and open a new one if I do experience the same error again?

Might as well have it closed for the next problem wont be the same.

Remember OC also shortens life span
