Custom Made Sig and Avatar [7]

Speedgamer, I never want to restrict the newer members, but I want them to come up. You are one of the most talented members around, undoubtedly ! Dont take my words otherwise, mate, but it was a time when I didn't know anything about graphics. I followed the seniors, tried hard to learn, and nowadays I can make something. I never tried to do the basics, but gave my best effort on every piece of design I made. To make my tries better than my present best, I always ask Nick, and others for technical support .

You also try to do better, mate . We all know that you can do it . If one day my shot is rejected and yours is accepted, I would be much happier than the present situation.

My present sig may be an example ... it took at least an year of hard work by me (trying) and Nick (teaching)

A Revelations sig for me too perhaps? Only 7 more days to wait... It got delayed for PC.

Oh, and if possible, Vista and Eight Forums versions too.

Okay. I think these sigs require a small explanation. They deal with death, passage of time, sorrow - you name it.
They were heavily inspired by feelings and memories I'm sure most of us have experienced before, and by "Lacrimosa" from the Requiem Mass by Mozart.

Sig 1 (woman and skeleton): a deconstructionist's playpen, as someone once told me (with regard to an odd piece of writing I had scribbled up). An "uncomfortable" sig on many levels, I suppose.
Sig 2 (skeleton, cyclamen and path): the cyclamen stands for farewell and death - and therefore also for a new beginning.

Finally, I hope that these sigs do not cause too much discomfort - I enjoy working with "unconventional" material.
I can also imagine that they will clash with my "proud prude" image

Thanks Randy and Archie Yes, there's a heavy emphasis on poetic content...and skeletons (basically the deconstruction of the human being) always produce a tingle of discomfort, I guess.

Since "poetic" and "philosophical" are two words which would never come up in a converstion about me, I think they are quite visually exciting and appealing. Sigs with two names are uncomfortable, but I like these Athene.

Since "poetic" and "philosophical" are two words which would never come up in a converstion about me, I think they are quite visually exciting and appealing. Sigs with two names are uncomfortable, but I like these Athene.
