How to remedy MINOR scratches on a laptop?

Hi guys, as the title says, I'm wondering if it's possible to remove or fill in these light scratches that have formed on my laptop.View attachment 185229
Is this possible? Please help! (Whoever helps I will thank, but I don't know how, could you please show me?)

Do you have CIF liquid cleaner in Aus ,a small drop on a dampened cloth will get rid of those little scratches but don't rub too hard or it will make them worse !!!

It used to be called Jif in the UK, but the makers decided to change the name.

As Pebbly says, light and easy should do it.

It was originally marketed in the UK as Vim, had its name changed to Jif, and later became known as Cif, although many people in the UK still refer to it as Jif.

@seavixen32 Oh yeah, we have that in Aus. It's known as Jif, or Jiff. We use it on the toilet XD lol!

LOL, that's what I thought too.

Didn't realise you could use it to clean laptops too!

We use Harpic for our loo - in fact my grandsons often call me Harpic because they reckon I'm clean round the bend most of the time.

It is a cream cleaner, this means it is ABRASIVE and will take off the top layer if used vigorously.

Another option is to use T-CUT (Black) this is very similar What is t-cut and where is cheapest excpt it's not a cleaner and is designed for car bodywork. Again a small amount on a soft cloth rubbing gently in circles.

There are some very good polishes for plastic but this is one I use 100% on all my cars and I can speak to it's amazing restorative powers. Please use a little on a sponge and work into the scratches re-applying and then let dry and buff. This stuff even smells amazing !

I thought that was for Hickys (love bites) not scratches. Or does it do both?

I've never tried it on a laptop, but I've had the best luck with this for polishing out CD/DVDs:

I would think that it should work on laptops also.

whatever you do ,dont use powdered vim, its like sandpaper

and never clean a CD with Nail Varnish remover, It's far too strong a solvent and will turn the surface cloudy.
