So , hello everyone
Like you see im a new member and i hope ill stay here and help other members etc...

So i got a problem and i cant reslove it. its about the stereo mix .

the problem : i think (not sure) that i enabled the stereo mix by Fraps (recording program) where there was a recird win7 sound > stereo so i checked it and then i couldn't talk anymore on the mic that i have. I knew that my problem is stereo mix because when i open the ts and try to talk they hear waht my computer is doing (playing music .. etc...)
I tired to put show disabled divices and show disconnected devices but it didn't show up to disable it
Tired to install the latest version of my sound card which is : High defenition audio but it didn't show up too
Tried also to unistall then install .. the same didn't show up...

So please if anyone could help me to solve this problem ill be very thankfull :o

i got : windows 7 ultimate 32 bit
and here is some of my dxdiag copied at notepad
DxDiag.txt

- thanks

If you can't get "Stereo Mix" to show up by enabling "show disconnected devices" and "show disabled devices", you have 2 general choices:

1: Get another sound card--one known to provide Stereo Mix on Windows 7

2: Try all possible older drivers (Vista, etc) and see if they help. You may have to install in compatibility mode. Try all possible variations. Look at the web site for your sound card (chip) manufacturer. Look at the motherboard manufacturer's web site, etc, etc.

If choice 2 doesn't help you, go to choice 1.

The "up to date" driver may be the problem. You may be better off with an older driver--from Vista. But that may not work either. All you can do is try all possible Nvidia drivers.

Stereo mix on Windows 7 can be very frustrating--much more frustrating than on Vista or XP.

If you need a new sound card, that would mean new hardware---a software download would not help. The only thing you could download would be drivers for your existing sound card, and if that doesn't help you would need new hardware.

It has been a while since I checked, but a year or so ago the HT Omega Striker 7.1 provided Stereo Mix on Windows 7. About $75 from New Egg.

I have used an external Behringer UFO-202 USB sound card and it provides Stereo Mix on Windows 7. About $35. Amazon sells them I think.

I have heard rumors that Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi series (excluding Extreme Audio series) and Sound Blaster Audigy series (excluding Sound Blaster Audigy LE, SE, and Audigy Value) will provide Stereo Mix. I can't confirm that and I don't like Creative Labs anyway.
