Can't install Windows 7 Ultimate x64

So as soon as it finishes, what do I do?

If you are cleaning Disk 0, then I assume you want to install Windows to Disk 0.

Have you yet disabled or disconnected the other disk, presumably Disk 1??

You only want 1 disk to be available to Windows when you begin the installation, so you need to disable or disconnect the unwanted disc.

If you open the case and disconnect something, you are going to have to know the answer to the question "which of these two discs is disk 0 and which is disk 1"?

I will look in my manual after cleaning how to disable disk 1 - it is disk 1 and not yet disabled or removed.

When you click on SATA controller on BIOS Advanced tab, the choices are RAID, IDE, SATA and Disabled.

You set them both to SATA yesterday and tried install, correct?

Go back in and set the second HD to Disabled.

Make sure DVD drive is set to boot first, Save changes and Exit.

See Greg's post number 80. The info should be on page 23 of your manual.

You need to select 'disabled" for the drive in question.

Confirm that the DVD drive is set to boot first.

Save the changes to the bios and then exit.

Then put the install disk in the DVD drive and restart.

If you have a disabled hard drive and a newly cleaned hard drive, you have no OS, so the PC should start (boot) from the disc in the DVD drive and you can continue the install.

The "clean all" command you issued takes about an hour for each 300 GB of drive space on the drive.

You generally navigate among BIOS choices with the arrow keys. And then maybe hit the enter key after you have arrived at the proper spot via the arrow keys. Then save the changes and exit.

If the BIOS is too much for you to deal with, your only other choice is to open the case and unplug the unwanted drive.

The BIOS Manual says Disabled should be one of the options (see screenshot above). If it's not then I don't see where else HD can be disabled in BIOS. Anyone else?

In that case I'd open the case and pull the power cable from the bottom HD.

Looks like you use + or - to change Options, then Enter, then F4 to Save.

You already have SATA mode set to AHCI, now use down arrow to highlight the second HD, click enter, use + or - to browse to see if there is a Disable choice.
 
The down arrow doesn't work and all plus and minus does is change between AHCI, RAID or IDE.

Yes, even after clean all didn't work, so I recleaned with just clean (not all).

Have you selected all 6 available ports on that BIOS screen and attempted to fully cycle between RAID, IDE, and whatever choices are available?

Or are you just trying to cycle among choices when "SATA Mode" is selected?

It might be that choices are limited on certain ports?

I don't know anything about that particular BIOS other than what is in the manual.
