BSOD A device driver attempting to corrupt the system has been caught.

Changed.....units? Im not sure what that is.

It changed from degrees Celsius to degrees Fahrenheit. You can see if you look at when the numbers change drastically.

You do not have a stop 0x116, but there are good tools available in the thread http://www.sevenforums.com/crash-lo...op-0x116-video_tdr_error-troubleshooting.html to test out your graphics card and graphics card memory. See if the tests cause blue screens and post back.

I also keep meaning to ask: did you ever order new memory and replace the old memory?

Also, do the following for me. In HWINFO, do not put a tick in Sensor Only and hit Run. Close the update dialog box. Close the system summary (it says system summary in the bar at the top). Click Save Report (you do not have to save your username or computer name if you do not want to) and choose a location for it by hitting browse. Save it as HTML and in a location you will remember. Upload the HTML file on here so I can go through your hardware (this gives a better hardware layout than the Windows PERFMON does). I can check for any incompatibilities.

Would it be ok to just buy another one of the 4 gb sticks?

You would want to check to see if the 4GB stick works by itself first. Remove the two 2GB sticks and test. If the system is more stable, then buy another 4GB stick. Is the 4GB stick new?

Did you check with Corsair to make sure the 4GB RAM was compatible with your setup before buying?

The nice thing about Corsair is they say this on the site for your RAM: "Guaranteed to work on all Intel and AMD platforms" so if it does not work for your setup, Corsair is good at returns and finding a kit that will work.

I just got the cheapest RAM on offer for my motherboards RAM options. When I got the motherboard I noticed it was either Corsair or £5 shite. So I went with corsair, I mean its the only dual channel DDR3 that I could find that had good reviews ^.^

So how do I go about finding a site that will show RAM that is compatible for my setup?

Edit1: Also the RAM was baught off of EBAY. Not sure if I could return it or not

EBAY isn't the most reliable source for computer components.

That being said, there are a couple ways to find RAM for your setup.
  1. The AMD site, listed earlier, AMD Memory for Systems
  2. Asus M4A89GTD PRO Memory Upgrades - Guaranteed Compatible Memory for your Asus M4A89GTD PRO from Corsair

I would say hold off buying either until you e-mail the companies that make them and make sure they will work in your system. Plus, you should test out the module that you currently have to see if you need to order those.

I would stay away from 1600 MHz RAM for an AMD processor. Just read a post by Dave76 who knows more about these things than I do.

There is a known issue with the AMD IMC (Integrated Memory Controller) with RAM frequencies above 1333MHz.
I hope AMD will solve this soon.

Computer has been running for 48 hours non-stop no errors. I have been gaming on it for at least 16 our of that 48 as well.

Will keep you updated

Edit 1: Ive noticed something. whenever I play games my CPU temp is at 60-61, which I assum is ok, but my CORE temps are at or above 76, highest I have seen is 79. Is that normal?
