Nah,full mage,dual casting. Never realy played as a mage in RPG's before, so I am going to do it properly,with no armor,just robes and spells.

Its the only way, its the right way. any mage that uses any sort of weapon or armour, is a wuss and a spellblade. shameful.

Spellblade IMHO is the way to go. Melee and magic work well together.

I prefer going full mental warrior, no shield just heavy armor and the biggest 2handed blade I can find! lol

But being a mage is fun, it's a bit to easy,being able to kill the target before it gets close to you(And yeah,difficulty level is at master) But still it's a different gameplay,so Skyrim is addictive once more!

That's what I love about Skyrim. There's just so many options, it's virtually endless.

My new character is called Saskia she is a Wood Elf archer at lvl 2 lol just walking around at the mo soaking in all the sites... Can't believe the size of the install about 6GB compared to WOW 25GB's or there abouts. LMAO

I too was surprised by the small install size. I still can't figure out why that is...

Better compression with textures probably?? who knows. Those BSA files will probably have better compression than we have seen before.

Well I know what I'm doing all week/weekend now

Can't wait for the new user content and make or DL a GOOD house with all the racks, shelves and tables and chests needed to hold all mah loots!

DON'T BOTHER DOWNLOADING IT Steam is messed up at the moment everyone is trying to download it and the servers are stressed. YOU CAN'T EVEN PLAY SKYRIM they really messed up this time.

I was worried about tying everything to steam. I LIKE having multiple modding communities I can pick and chose from and if one is down there are many others around. They seem to think that's a bad thing for some reason. (Clearly we can see why it's not).

Even for content DL, having multiple mirrors is the oldest DUH of the internet. Having everything in the entire universe routed through steam is the biggest mistake.

Not so hot on the uploads all having to go to steam either. Hopefully that's not the case and people can save the files locally and post on other websites...

I haven't gotten the upgrade myself yet but I have installed other high rez textures. And you can only even tell when the object with the texture is something like ... 8 "feet" or less away from your camera? In other words, you really have to have it be filling a fair portion of your screen to appreciate the extra resolution (and well it depends, a small plant you have to be REALLY close to but a large wall maybe not so much)

In the end it they were "ok" but really not "wow"...
