Got the same problem... I know my activation key was original, and from now my windows say's its not genuine??

then reboot.

Please post your own MGADiag report to a NEW thread of your own - the chances are that your problem is very different in origin.

It might also be worth noting that bigdog2626 has had some hard disk error related problems. See the thread I was helping in at: http://www.sevenforums.com/crashes-debugging/211544-pc-froze-now-running-good-after-chkdsk.html.

Works in all versoins of WIndows - with XP and earlier, you will probably need to insert your installation CD if you installed it yourself.
In Vista and Win7, the backup files are already on the HD.

Yep - You can boot to the WINRE (using F8 - Repair My Computer - then select the Command Prompt window)
You can use the OFFBOOTDIR amd OFFWINDIR switches...

...or you could do the same by using the repair function of your DVD
.... or you could slave the drive to another Win7 system.

but no, you can't slave the drive to an XP system and run it offline that way.
