new windows live mail(2011) update

I dont need or use other WL Apps at this point. don't need WL Messenger at all.... Is this the best version thats being used/ recommended?...
What are the Pros and Cons of going from the CURRENT VERSION to NEWER ONES or the LATEST ones?

The current build number of 2009 is 14.0.8117.0416. I don't remember if it made anything better but at least it didn't create any new problems that I could notice. (I'm still using it on Windows 7.)

each user has his/her own likes and dislikes.

personally, i prefer the old windows live mail, but have stopped using it as i'm now a postbox user.

however, postbox isn't free.

It's kind of hard to get updated viewpoints when the programs themselves have not been updated.
