I have been checking out the Windows 7 Search function which is highly rated by MS as a considerable improvement over XP.
I was using as a target for the Search Function some *.mbx files which I know exist in the path :- C:\Users\My Name\App Data\Roaming\Qualcomm\Eudora. These files do not show when I type "*.mbx" in the search box inspite of the fact that they are present there.
If I click on the Properties of the service "Windows Search" I note that I have this set to "MANUAL".
Must I set this to "AUTOMATIC" to enable the location of these files to appear in the Search box?
