you could try taking some tap water, boiling it in the tea maker thingy and then Putting some in a cup and putting in in the refrigerator.

i'm lucky enough to have well water where i live.

whenever i drink tap water elsewhere it tastes yucky - must be the chlorine, fluorine and other government mind-control stuff in there...i always feel like conforming and buying more consumer products when i drink it...:huh:

although thinking about it a bit more, who knows what's in the well water??

Living up north, and close to the lake district, the water is soft here, so I'm used to it. Went to London the other weekend for my girlfriend's birthday and had a glass of water there and you could really taste the difference. Though drinking tap water in London, at least 3 people have drank it before me.

I live out in the county district were i live and it taste better then at my ants house were she lives out by city part of town and for some reseaon i find water from the hose to taste even better so odd lol love pouring some water on my head and drinking from the hose in the hot summers

Don't think boiling distilled it. Distilled would be recovering and condensing the water vapor produced from the heating process. What's left in the pot are the impurities that were in the water to begin with.

But, just by heating that water, you do remove dissolved gasses that could contribute to the unappealing taste you usually experience...

But cold beer really is better for you. Very refreshing.

Yup that's why. Tap water usually tastes bad because of added chlorine and/or natural sulfur dioxide. Boiling forces these gases out of the water and so it tastes better afterwards. Agitation also works, so you could use a blender and get the same effect.

As for distilling, it is a waste of time unless you add malted grain, sugar and yeast. Allow it to ferment and then distill this liquid at least twice. The yields usige brea (water of life) which is pronounced whiskey bray ah. ��

The reason I posted it was the fact that you mentioned toilet water.

I don't know how you pronounce shih tzu on your side of the pond, but over here we pronounce it as shitzu - hence the connection with toilet water.

funny thing is that the spanish say that people who speak spanish that are from mexico speak slang spanish so i guess i speak slang english and spanish due to my blood orginating from those parts. According to my mother i have slight bit of french also but it's like 4% due to the cross being so old so that would be from like my great great great great ect idk loool I'm guessing I would be mainly of mexican indian and spaniard blood with that small percentage of french. My great grand mother had green eyes while my great great grand father had blue eyes, so wierd. So chances are I could have a son/daughter with blue eyes or green even though my eyes are brown.

I'm mixed Western European and Native American. I have Hazel eyes, which are brown and green. People tell me that's a sign of mixed bloods. But, I don't know for sure.

With your (GG) Grandfather, I've also heard Blue Eyes are a recessive gene. Whatever that means. LOL

My mother was Ulster Scot (Geat Britian or Ireland way)or Scotch-Irish (American way)(Celtic Blood), English (Angelo Saxon Blood), and Welch (Celtic Blood), that pretty much covers Great Britian. Ha!

My father was German/English and Apache, half breed is what they call it here in the US. He was brown with black hair, and brown eyes, looked like a real Native American. LOL

Well, what I term French toast is a thick slice of freshly-baked bread dipped liberally in raw egg yolks and whites that have been whisked in a bowl with milk, butter, salt and pepper, and then lightly fried both sides in a pan with butter, lard or cooking oil - whichever you prefer.

Eaten piping hot it makes a great snack.

Try doing the same again. Boil and then add cucumber!!! it gives the water an amazing refreshing taste!!
