I dont want any of the prizes, infact if we win any of the contests I would rather the holders donate them to a chartity.

With the contest at its current stage, its very unlikely there would be that much voting at one time. In the beginning of the contest, I could see a lot of people voting at one time, but not this late in the contest.

You did the right thing, ...we don't need no stinking contest to know we're the top Windows 7 site. :p

Is this the same contest as in this thread in the "General Discussion" section?

If the voting would been done better first, there would have been no cheating.

A simple solution : create an account with e-mail check. Registers through e-mail. Vote. Store username who vote. If he/she tries to vote again, we get an error and the current results are being displayed.

But, looks like there's people who do not think before doing that kind of contests... Now, it's too late to think of it.

It's not like the voting actually mattered as the main sites would have gone through to the final anyway, it's just that some users from our site and others turned it into some sort of schoolboy pissing contest of forum rivalry and that I want no part in.
