Win7 creates 4M WMITracing.log when startup

how can I disable this logging? it slowdown system & boot time

hi limneos, I checked the url you posted, but I can't find the way to disable wmi tracing logging :-(

Well, from what I see, this log file is created in my computer too, but I don't think it slows down anything...

My boot time: 24secs.

You could always stop the wmi service but I wouldn't suggest you do so!

Are you sure it's causing you delays???

my hdd is a MLC SSD, I think write large logs may slowdown win7 when startup:o , and I wont to stop wmi service too.

I think in our time, a 4MB file is not considered a large log.

Average SSD speeds are about 120MB/s read and 100MB/s write....(manufacturer specs, samsung specific)

rich man:D, samsung slc ssd, mine is ocz v2 mlc ssd :-(
