Hi All,

I have recently built a new pc but it keeps blue screening. It happens at random times but it is very frequent. It has happened 3 times while attempting to write this post.

I have looked at all the crash dumps in BlueScreenView.exe and the driver at fault seems to be ntoskrnl.exe offset at 7cc80.

The call stack is always the same as well. I haven't been able to locate the problem myself so I thought someone might be able to help me out on here :)

I have tried running a test with memtest86+ and it seemed to work fine.

Attached are a zip file with all my crash dumps and a txt file containing a dxdiag about my machine.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards,
Wil

These were all virtually identical as you said and related to The Microsoft Client Server Runtime Server subsystem/ It is one of 3 files critical to win 7's operation. Read about it here. http://www.processlibrary.com/directory/files/csrss/26031/

Lets start with a system file check to verify the OS files and a malwarebytes scan just to be safe

How to use the System File Checker tool to troubleshoot missing or corrupted system files on Windows Vista or on Windows 7

Please download the free version of Malwarebytes.
Update it immediately.
Do a full system scan
Let us know the results at the end.

Something is causing csrss to crash. Have you installed anything new of late?

No just the drivers that came with the system as it is a new build.

I am using a 120gb SSD to install Windows on. Interestingly enough I used another old HDD and unplugged the SSD.

I didnt have a BSOD using the old HDD so I suspect that the SSD is faulty.

I will investigate this further. If I get a BSOD using the old HDD then i'll post again.

Cheers,

There has been a spate of SSD issues lately but most people will not even look there. Good job.

Let us know if you need help.
