Any clue how I could use the HDMI audio with my computer? I have a headset and a 6piece speaker set. And I'm using a screen monitor not a tv. How could that work? Do I need extra cables?
Not without connecting it via HDMI to a suitable receiver.
I have uninstalled the drivers before, whenever I restart my computer, it keeps popping up with the "Found new hardware" (4times). Thanks for the suppor though.
what about the options are there any options in them
All 4 are from the video card, and likely little to no options in the Nvidia control panel for them either.
Something like this,
Newegg.com - ASUS XONAR_DG 5.1 Channels PCI Interface Xonar DG Sound Card
would solve all the problems as you can't make the necessary change in the bios to force enable the onboard audio. Cheap enough and will work regardless of what the bios says. Should also find that you will get better sound quality out of it even though it is a budget card than what you get from the onboard.
The only solution to the bios problem is to contact the motherboard or computer manufacturer and get them to release an update that includes actually enabling the onboard. And until you can actually enable it in the bios, there is nothing short of a sound card you can do. They either didn't think about video cards with built in sound (and not being used for such) completely disabling the onboard audio, or they don't care.
