compatibility with some old programs that worked fine with xp.
I dont say that its windows 7 fault as the developer of the old software have not updated their products to work with win 7.

Neg win 7 there wasn't enough builds. we needed at least 10 more. by then I would have the update down to a mere 2 hours.

Honesty I cant think of a single thing.

Is it me, or is it a bit outdated?? i mean the first star trek had a talking computer, how hard is that to do in windows? I wanted an operating system integrated in my every day life, from the watch I have to my mobile always connected on the internet. and always someone (thing) to talk to.

Negatives? I can't say "Hello computer" and have it respond "Hello Dave, You must die now cause I am tired of your whiny butt complaining when I BSOD, when really I am just screwing with you to piss you off."

And yes, Win7 seems a bit out dated now and hasn't even been released yet. :D

I don't like the fact that the family pack won't be offered everywhere. In my country for instance. Now I have to buy 3 seperate licenses of Win7. Well, not gonna happen. I simply won't upgrade two of the three computers. Too bad for MS, this way they're missing out on some extra cash.

I actually do have something I do not like about 7. I sent feedback but evidently it is not important enough.

The way 'focus' works in the 'file manager' (windows explorer of old). Open my C drive and choose a folder. That folder is blue indicating 'focus', OK so far. When I select a sub-folder the blue, indicating 'focus', goes to the bottom of the page. Now I selected the sub-folder so I could view its contents but all the contents of the folder are now below the visible part of my screen. I have to click on the sub-folder, again, and drag it up to the middle of the screen in order to view its contents. Now if I select one of these folders the blue (focus) again returns to the bottom of the page so if I need a file that is 4 or 5 levels deep, each time I have to drag the selected folder from the bottom of the screen to where its contents are visible. It is like a yo-yo. Click, click again and drag up; click, click again and drag up; click, click again and drag up; click, click again and drag up. Does anyone else find this behavior aggravating?

Actually, yes, I do know what you are referring to.
And this is that way in vista, ok,, so that is a negative.

Only thing i don't like about seven is: Windows Media Center. It looks like the one in vista which looks really boring. :( i just wish they would have made a whole new look.

According to me after using vista there is nothing in windows 7 that I dont like.

I agree with you. There are some changes in Windows Media Center but more or less it looks like that of vista`s but that does`nt bother me as I dont use Media center that much.

Why are you still using the RC.... :sarc:
I'm still using the RC. All the other builds actually don't let me install a mouse driver that I really need. Only the RC will let me do that.

As for flaws...some of my apps are unstable on Windows 7. For example, Starlancer, Halo, and even IE crash a few times on Windows 7. Also, my old scanner isn't supported, but that's because HP didn't upgrade the driver.
