when I copy files to my pen drive a new folder appears. This folder is named bd_local
within this folder is a folder called f2a1d42834a308357a10a67b3b4c88665dc7d76e, within this folder one called 7fff7669, and within this folder 8000000000000001fa32000000000007. apart from the nested folders, all folders are empty. Can anyone shed any light on this mystery. I have made a search for bd_local on the net but with no success.
This problem has only started in the last few days, the only program I have installed apart from windows updates is Adobe flash player plug-in.
I am running Windows 7 Ultimate, I have scanned with avast IS and Superantispyware with negative results. I don't think this is a serious problem, but even so I like to know where these things come from.

Thanks in advance

Hi abedrax, the bd_logs are what bitdefender uses after scanning your pendrive ,if you so wish you can stop bitdefender scanning the pendrive on insertion just incase run a scan using mbytes Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware: Malwarebytes install and run the update before scanning ;)

thanks pebbly, but i'm not using bitdefender,I'll try malwarebytes but superantispyware found nothing. I had a thought that it may be something to do with using the pen drive in my blu-ray player due to bd live, i haven't had a chance to test this theory yet, but this only started recently and the br player is not connected to the web,so I don't really think this is the source of the problem.
Thanks for your input
