Fair warning before reading this thread, I don't have a lot of time on my hands and contacting me via skype or phone would be TEN times easier, PM me if interested in helping me, like seriously, this is urgent because I am going off to college soon and need to have all of my issues fixed :| but any ways here we go..
Just upgraded my build to the new 3770k i7 processor, GA-Z77-D3H motherboard, and 16gb (4x4) ddr3 1600 corsair vengeance RAM
Even after upgrading I am still having this SAME blue screen that was getting before hand so I can definitely say it isn't my mobo, processor or RAM. however it MIGHT be my graphics card (6970), because I wasn't having the issues before I had that, but I was having other blue screens so I don't really know exactly... I also upgraded to a ssd and now windows is installed on that which wasn't what I used to do so the situation is a lot different now..
I honestly don't know what to do at this point, I need help. I am posting all of the appropriate info as attatchments please help out.
Oh this BSOD JUST happened to me about 4 hours ago in the middle of a League of Legends match. It has happened just just opening google chrome before, but mainly while gaming and using both monitors for games and what not.
lemme know if I can post any information, I will do so instantly because I get emails to my phone when someone posts, so if you have something to say please say it!
thanks for all the help,
sean!
- x86 (32-bit) or x64 ? 64 bit
- the original installed OS on the system? Windows 7
- an OEM or full retail version? OEM
- OEM = came pre-installed on system
- Full Retail = you purchased it from retailer
- What is the age of system (hardware)? mobo, processor, ram is brand new
gpu is about 6 months old as well as my ssd, psu is about 5 years old, hdd is about 5 years old
- What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?) maybe 30 days?
Might I add that my GPU drivers will not install to the 12.4 Version, They are stuck at 11.5 (even now after I upgraded).
don't know if this is related of if anyone knows what I'm talking about but, I do the proper deleting of all the appropriate folders and such (hidden ones as well), drivers, and everything related to ATI/AMD and then do the reinstall of the 12.4 catalyst suite yet I end up with the 11.5 every time.
