Using Windows 7,
I would like to add keyboard under English (United States).
Where is the registry key?

I know in Windows XP it's quite simple. It's by referring to .IME files. But there is no "IME File" key in Windows 7 Registry.

Hello tinfanide,

You might see if this may be able to help. It'll help show you how to add input languages. :)

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Really thanks for your reference, Brink.
I've known how to do it that way before. Maybe my question has been unclear. Yet, I wanna know how to do it through Registry.

Adding or removing input languages in Win7 is easy (many tutorials online). Yet, when it comes to the keyboard under the input languages, it is a nightmare. (no tutorial online...)

To my astonishment, it's so easy to do it in WinXP Registry (as said in my previous thread). But it gives me much a hard time in Win7 Registry. Can anyone here tell me where the registry key relating to adding keyboard under an input language is?

Many thanks.

I'm afraid, I don't know where the registry setting is for this. :(

If this is what you mean below, then you should be able to just select Keyboard under a language, click on Add, then check the ones you want to add for that language. You can check Show More to see more options. Step 3 in tutorial.
