Solved Unable to Install MS Office 2010

Hey Folks,

Everytime I'm trying to install MS Office 2010 on Windows 7 i getting the below pop-window box with the error after the completion of installation process:



About an year and half ago I had MS Office 2010 Trial Version for 6 months (not sure about the trial period), after the trial version got expired I installed MS Office 2007 & have been using it since then.Now I want to go back to MS Office 2010 but can't as keep getting the above error.

Any way out through this error?

Try using Revo Uninstaller Pro - Uninstall Software, Remove Programs easily, Forced Uninstall to make sure all the files are gone. Also check the %appdata% for extra MS office files, along with the %temp% area.

Uninstall all the trail versions files, as said before, Microsoft has probably added some file which stops people from just reinstalling the Office 2010 trail version when it has expired on the same computer.

I did uninstalled all the system files & also registry files to insure that there shouldn't be any problem while installing MS Office 2010 in the future.

And be sure to use the most extreme mode.

Will keep that in mind while installing it again. I normally use the extreme mode ONLY but will make a note of it.

Thanks Justin for the info. I did also ran a scan through Revo Uninstaller but to no avail. In addition to this i deleted every possible file from every possible folder but not sure why still getting the error ??
