Delete and recreate Win 7 partition, or simply format the win 7 parttion and reinstall. Is there is more to your question than what you asked?

Or you could do a Repair install, just insert the DVD or mount the ISO and run it from within Windows and choose the upgrade option and it will reinstall windows but you won't have to install all your programs again. It does take a fair bit longer then a fresh install but it can save you time in the long run if you have to install allot of programs.

When you format and reinstall 7 the bootloader will be restored so dual botting with XP will remain no issue
