Solved Folders say how many Subfolders are in a folder

I seen this picture of a persons folder in the "Content" layout and in my picture you will see where it says "Date Modified" and that's where it said the sub-folder and other information. Where would I go to change that? I've looked everywhere.

With Windows Explorer open click on the little black arrow ringed on this screenshot

and choose "Details" If that's not what you want try all the others until you find one that suits you

No, do you see where it says "Date Modified"?
Well someone had it to where it said how many sub-folders where in those folders.

OK see what you mean now. Open the Explorer window you are wishing to edit. Right click on any column heading ie "Date Modified and a list will open. Click more at the bottom of the list and choose from the list. Which one shows the number of folders within a folder i don't know but you can find it by trial and error as fast as I can and I'm in the middle of trimming a big Bay Tree at the moment!
Either choose one of the two column width choices at the top of this window or make sure you designate a width in the box at the bottom. (suggest 200)

I don't think Windows Explorer will show you that info.

The only way I know to show that info is:

• Right click on the folder
• Choose "Properties"

I'm beginning to think that you are right. I have had another look at the Column Heading choices and can't find the one in question. I wonder as an off chance if this is possibly an extra feature in Win 7 Pro or Ultimate? Could anyone reading this who runs one of those versions please check.

Checked Pro and Ultimate - no go on that, only under "Properties".

Found out the solution: Go in to the folder, Menu Bar > View > Sort By > More, then there is the stuff I was looking for. All though I don't see sub-folder option, nor does it make a change when I apply something else.

But all you have done is to take a different route to the same destination. The window you opened to make your choices is the exact same window that I suggested. The reason that a choice you made didn't work is that it had no relevance to the folder you were in at the time. For instance if you are in a pictures folder containing PNG and JPEG files it's not good choosing a music option. It is not relevant. If you choose one that is relevant and it doesn't show it means you didn't look at the part where I said "Make sure you choose a width for the column" If you don't create the column there is nowhere for the colomn Title to go!

If you caould edit the actual test i doubt it would make any difference to what info is shown against each file! It's the code that is called by that heading that matters.
