Gurus...pls. help. and I'm a newbie

I had a new system built 5 months ago- COre I5 2500K, GIgabyte Z68xUD3H MOBO, 8GB corsair RAM, Win 7- it was running off the vertex OCX SSD - 64GB. The guy didnt do the intel RST properly as he loaded Win 7 directly onto SSD. System was giving unusual app errors so I decided to rebuild the OS 2 weeks ago - formatted HDD and loaded Win 7 SP1. I have not yet turned on the Intel RST although I have seen it works fine.

Since last few days, been thru a string of BSODs. I've attached all the required format details here so hopefully you gurus can help me soon. After we troubleshoot this BSOds, I really want to take a good backup of the system and then turn on Intel RST - so I can fasten the system.

Anything else reqd., pls. let me know. BUT PLS. HELP ME SOON !! thanks a lot in advance.

Your reports hint at driver problems. Let try to find out which one

Driver Verifier
I'd suggest that you first backup your data and then make sure you've got access to another computer so you can contact us if problems arise. Then make a System Restore point (so you can restore the system using the Vista/Windows 7 Startup Repair feature).

In Windows 7 you can make a Startup Repair disk by going to Start....All Programs...Maintenance...Create a System Repair Disc - with Windows Vista you'll have to use your installation disk or the "Repair your computer" option at the top of the Safe Mode menu .

Then, here's the procedure:
- Go to Start and type in "verifier" (without the quotes) and press Enter
- Select "Create custom settings (for code developers)" and click "Next"
- Select "Select individual settings from a full list" and click "Next"
- Select everything EXCEPT FOR "Low Resource Simulation" and click "Next"
- Select "Select driver names from a list" and click "Next"
Then select all drivers NOT provided by Microsoft and click "Next"
- Select "Finish" on the next page.

Reboot the system and wait for it to crash to the Blue Screen. Continue to use your system normally, and if you know what causes the crash, do that repeatedly. The objective here is to get the system to crash because
Driver Verifier is stressing the drivers out. If it doesn't crash for you, then let it run for at least 36 hours of continuous operation (an estimate on my part).

If you can't get into Windows because it crashes too soon, try it in Safe Mode.
If you can't get into Safe Mode, try using System Restore from your installation DVD to set the system back to the previous restore point that you created.

Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable

Rich--- I dont see how to do this..no option that depicts low resource simulation
- Select everything EXCEPT FOR "Low Resource Simulation" and click "Next"

so I selected all drivers and have rebooted the system. Hope that's what was required.

Nevermind..I had launched verifier as ADMINISTRATOR - hence was getting confusing UI. When I just launched it - it gave me the predefined settings..now we're good. Doing another reboot...
How do I check that the right ones are being verified - is there a report or querry?

The verifier puts all drivers under stress. The bad ones will cause BSODS. After 36 hours just give me your dump reports as you did in your earlier post.

Rich/others - here it is what you asked for- Have been running verifier since last 2 days. One thing found unusual now- system has been giving me BSOD on startup as well - for instance today 8/25, both in morning and afternoon - when I started my PC it gave me BSODs. Attached is all the dump info. Eagerly awaiting your response..

It really cant be hardware as the machine was functioning fine for last4-5 months. Its just that rebuilt the OS and all apps- all hardware remains the same.
Also I wanted to let you know that just now again and in last 1-2 days, while starting up the machine is giving problems- like just now, when I started it, it went into start-up repair mode and then after 2 restarts (first it got me to gigabyte temporary profile) it logged into mine. I'm not sure if verifier logs any of these details or just the BSODs. Pls. let me know what other tests you want me to run. I can call you as well if you send me your contact phone to give you more details or any other quick checks you'd like me to run. Thanks a lot.

I dont have an AV at the moment. Will install it now. Also Intel RST is installed, though its not being used. As I said, wanted to stabilize system first and then do the SSD to HDD intel RST coupling. Pls. respond soon on what other diagnostics- like startup or shutdown you'd like me to run.

While I install AV and again run a few startups/shutdowns- do you recommend installing any other diagnostics to view details of those startup-shutdowns. Also do you know other experts here, that you could PM, so they could also review these logs and suggest their inputs? I really want to get this done with soon now as we've been on it for sometime.

Tell me about safe mode, as previously requested, and then we will know which way to go.

Everyone is interested in getting their computer fixed as soon as possible and we do the best we can.
We have only examined one possiblity so far, drivers, usually it takes many more attempts than that. The reports give clues not answers. The only test that I suggested so far was the driver verifier. It normally takes more than one test. The procedure takes time regardless of the analyst.

Safe mode is working fine. I dont know why you took that tone above - that's what I'd asked, what other diag. do I need to install to monitor start-ups/shutdowns?

FRESH STRING OF BSODs AFTER AV Install

Ok Gurus..pls. relook at this.
I Installed the AV (Vipre) and since then had a string of BSODs and other errors in a matter of an hour. SO much so that I really cant login to normal windows and am posting this from safe mode. Attached is the dump from SF diag tool.
I think this confirms that its a driver issue. Some other datapoints
1. It gave me some other errors that I pasted in onenote and am posting along.
2. WHen booting in regular Win mode, it said once Error - C:/Windows/WinSXS is corrupt or unreadable. Pls. run chkdsk utility. Then on next boot it ran that but again couldnt log onto windows normally. hence I did the safe mode and took a fresh SF diag tool dump.
Pls. respond soon with what else I can run to help you guys help me fast.
thanks a ton.
