Is this a problem with my wifi card?

So I noticed a few things that are different when I'm on wifi or ethernet.

1. With apple stuff, AirParrot (airplay client) doesn't work unless I'm on ethernet. Same with iTunes.

2. I don't get IPv6 unless I'm on ethernet.

3. I can't stream from Windows Media Player to my xbox unless I'm on ethernet.

So why would those only work while I'm on ethernet and not on wifi? They are all on the same network... Is it a configuration problem? Is it a my wifi card sucks problem?

My wifi card is Realtek RTL8187SE

This sounds more like a router compatibility problem to me or you could be wirelessly connected to the guest account which would be outside the regular network.

I'd have to see a screen shot of the ipconfig/all with both connections in order to see what's going on there.

Check Firewall settings and see if it is blocking connections on the WiFi system.

Even with firewall completely off it doesn't work.

My router is a Cisco WRT610N and I'm on the 2.4GHz band.

Why isn't "DHCP enabled" set to Yes, it is set to No, on the WiFi connection?
Why is "Connection-specific DNS Suffix" set to xxx.xx.Comcast.net on the Ethernet connection?

I think DHCP isn't on wifi cause I set a static IP. As for the ethernet DNS, I don't know.

And just why are you using a Static on the WiFi card? For what purpose?

Cause I have wifi administration of my router enabled to only access from my computer and my dad's both of which are on a static, IP, since I can limit it by IP.

I don't see any problems with the ipconfig, you might want to update the wireless driver for the Realtek RTL8187SE and also update the firmware on your router.

Firmware was updated just days ago, and there are no updates for my wifi card.
