Slipstream New Updates Into RTM ISO

I must be reading the wrong stuff, or I'm terribly confused here:

New Features in the Windows AIK

no you indeed not need WAIK, for adding "MS" .cabs in to iso. I did my self test iso (test because all stuff except windows is beta anyway) with all updates + virtualpc + lps, i couldnt add for example MSE for some reason. Should make some kind of "post" install, but just cba since its beta anyway, however i eventualy will.

Nope its indeed not. DISM is part of windows :P you dont need WAIK/OPK anymore, for most of stuff. However i do know that dism is part of windows, but im not 100% sure that "wim mounting" driver is as well. Thing is, i always installed WAIK/OPK before i fidled with isos, so i dont know if you can mount iso with dism without "mounting driver" that WAIK/OPK provides (however since dism have this option it should be logicaly possible). And intergrating languages in to boot.wim means copying few license files and adding changed lang.ini in to "2nd" boot.wim image.
Grabbing wimfltr.inf, wimfltr.sys and wimgapi.dll will solve those wim driver issues;)

I was just gonna say that DISM is a part of WAIK, you beat me to it.

Dunno if it's available seperatly though..

EDIT: OK scrap the last line because Solor answered it..
Yeah...DISM is apart of Windows 7

Forgot to say that DISM will mount the ISO...it is just that I have found imagex to still be better for mounting the ISOs

well for me both bugs if i have open for example directory tree with directory im mounting to in "my computer" and dont want to unmount wim properly. Thing is imagex is easyer to use, dism have so many options that you actualy have to have text file with most common ones, unless you want to read thrue help every time...

Sho nuff: (This ain't Microsoft-like IMHO: Lotsa power in the hands of users?)
Seems necessary/required for "Anytime Upgrade" ?

DISM is installed with Windows® 7, and it is also distributed in the Windows OEM Preinstallation Kit (Windows OPK) and the Windows Automated Installation Kit (Windows AIK). It can be used to service Windows Vista® with Service Pack 1 (SP1), Windows Server® 2008, Windows® 7, Windows Server® 2008 R2, or Windows PE images.
C:\Windows\system32>dism

Deployment Image Servicing and Management tool
Version: 6.1.7201.0

Yup, the mount/unmount is 'listed', so it (logically) has to work...

MSInfo32: "wimmount' driver... (No AIK installed in this partition.)

Thanks, SoLoR :D
