how do i tell if serial key win 7 basic is 64 or 32bit?

i got a hp all in one and i have to reinstall everything again.
this is the scenario:
new hdd and i have to install 32 or 64.

and cheaper those one that are 32 or 64

Maybe visit the HP website and research the model number for the all in one. Might tell you how that particular model shipped out from the factory for general sale to the public.

For Basic you would want 32 bit unless you have more than 4gb RAM (doubtful).

TO know for sure what that model ships with google the model's number + Specs.
