Ganjiry - I never keep boxes for longer then 3 months, if it keeps working after 3 months,it will allways work

the longest i've kept any component so far is 12 months. i've usually bought n sold again within 3 months lol but now after about 3 complete rebuilds and about 6 sets of peripherals in 2 years i've finally settled lol. for the forseable future anyway

Edit: oh i have got to change my psu to a modular one after crimbo and get a 120hz monitor

I do that as well, the last two times I've moved house, I've had a couple "boxes of boxes" that I cart with me.. Suppose I should actually clean some of them out some time, but I am glad I kept most of them, I've got some old stuff I can sell now.

I'll see if I get a chance to post them on Carbonite later.

Depending on how steady your hand is, a decent jigsaw should do the trick quite nicely for that. Ultimately though, if a friend of a friend of a friend has a table saw that you can use, that would make easy work of the larger pieces.

i'm only gonna get an 850 or 1000w as components are getting less n less power hungry enit. so i cant see me ever needing more than the 850w. i'm pretty certain i'll go for a corsair psu, not sure which. with some bitfenix sleeved cables

A steady hand isn't needed to cut straight lines if you clamp a staightedge (like a board) to the surface being cut and use it to guide the saw.

aah i have a jigsaw but it takes a lot of force back and forth to cut but that could be due to having a ancient time jigsaw lol (it's quiet old so maybe that's why it's rough on teeth) anyways there that handy machine which has saw running on the bottom i forgot it's name what its called.. saw few models at the Metro Cash 'N' Carry in reasonable price range so thinking to grab one of them to start some experimentation and praticing

But yeah, working with wood is great fun, I haven't had a chance to do anything like that in a few years...
