Dabber if you can't find out where something in the library points to you have several options, When in a library details view where it says size name type, Right click that bar and select folder type, That will show you the folder the files are in, Other options right click file open folder location, if you want to keep the window open hold shift right click open folder location. In windows 7 shift key is your friend as it will give you a non truncated list of options upon right clicking different things, I personally Move everything off of my C drive and on to my D drive as far as files and user folders go, I also add my D storage drive to the index locations in windows 7. I personally take a diferent route in to my user folders bypassing the library. If you add default icons to your desktop then you can simple click the User folder there and then click on videos or whatever there and you wont be in libraries, You can also make a shortcut to the user folders bypassing the library anywhere you want even on the start menu. Just pin them.
