Can you boot from recovery/install media ?

Hi,
Just to Note: (I dont wish to step on toes):

If BSOD is occuring is safe mode then its pointing towards Hardware issues

You have an ntfs.sys error which is usually caused by a faulty or corrupt hard drive or possibly Malware.

You have a win32k.sys error, so it is a good bet that the problem is hardware and the first suspect is the RAM.

You also have ndproxy.sys error indicates that you got infected by malware (Adware, Worms, Viruses, Trojan and Spyware) and ndproxy.sys related files are removed by your antivirus software. As usual, your system will display error messages like ndproxy.sys is missing, ndproxy.sys Not Found, Can not find ndproxy.sys.

Hope this helps,

Cheers

Dave

Hi,

Its just an indication...doesnt mean you have been infected, depends on your error messages (which you said you did not get....so belay that :))

Microsoft Security Essentials is good from a Strict BSOD perspective, its stable, reliable and has a small footprint and should do the job...I use it and its hassle free.

I know this sounds obvious...but have you tried plugging in an external monitor? (For the blank screen problem)

Failing that Take it back to the shop if you can and Demand a replacement.

Hope this helps

Cheers

Dave

I don't actually have a cable to plug into an external monitor,i don't even have an external monitor actually lol,i will get in touch with the people i got it from, but they are sold out of the samsung series 7 gamer,i don't even think they are in production anymore to be honest.hopefully they can just replace whatever hardware has the fault on it,thank you so much for your help,at least now when i ring them and tell them the issue i can tell them what i think the issue is,as from experience the technical team of any company is not that technical lol :D

Thanks again

Just out of curiosity, how safe are third party themes??i installed one on 2 different laptops and the 2 had this kind of fault,on my other laptop i didn't have that theme installed but all the same software and had no problem with that one, just trying to narrow down the problems.it might not be THE problem but just another thing i could cross off,it was called MCLASS clash of the titans, scanned and verified clean with MSE tho.

Just had a thought, does it power up when display stays blank, if so try pressing Win+P which will select video output, every press moves one selection computer/duplicate/extend/projector
