My system is

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit
Graphics Card: AMD Sapphire HD6570
Motherboard: Intel DG33BU

I've bought the graphics card recently, and after replacing it my system doesn't recognise there's a graphics card, I've changed the BIOS to PCE-I but it doesn't pick up. I can't install the drivers as the PC doesn't recognise that I have a graphics card in (I'm using integrated graphics). The graphics card itself seems to be working because the fan spins.

Tried to update anything, though a program I used did say that my BIOS wasn't updated, though I couldn't find drivers to update it (using Welcome to BIOSAgentPlus) so any thoughts?

Go into the BIOS and disable the onboard video, that should work!

I've changed the BIOS to PCE-I but it doesn't pick up.

By rights, that should be enough as is. Not all Bios'es have an actual 'disable integrated' option unfortunately.

I'm assuming you've re-seated the card?

Power supply 'may be' an issue. But there have been plenty of people who've run this card on a 250W PSU.

Does the card appear in device manager, even as an unknown device?

The card doesn't appear as anything, nor does the card I was using previously.

I've disabled the on board graphics, but when I plug in my graphics card my monitor stays blank, however it does pick up some signal, just not enough to show anything

Basic troubleshooting. Shove that little brat into another computer. Does it work?

When you said that your old card didn't appear in the device manager it makes me think there is something wrong with your operating system, hence why I recommend you try it on another computer, OR. You try it on a clean install of Windows.

Does the graphics card fan spin up when you power on the machine? What about any indicator lights? Some models have lights that would indicate a problem. Check the manual.

But yeah trying the card in another machine would ultimately diagnose if it's the card or your computer.

Definitely try this if you have another PC available, but...
When you said that your old card didn't appear in the device manager it makes me think there is something wrong with your operating system
My first thought is motherboard. It's possible the slot is bad.

I don't really have another PC available, the graphics card slot was working when I removed the original card but hasn't since, the fan does start but I don't think there are any lights on it to show that it's working

You -will- have to try it on another computer, or send it back and try with a new card.
If it fails either you have bad luck with GPU's, or the motherboard is indeed failing.
