Right now i got a NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 and i want a new graphic card. Im looking for a gaming card to buy and i dont know much about graphic cards thats why i need help choosing. Something about my PC:

AMD Phenom(TM) 9650 quad core processor, ACER x193w monitor (1440x900), NVIDIA GeForce GT 120, 5 years old pc

Right now i got 1400 dkk which is 187.69 euro and im going to buy my graphic card from this site Grafikkort - Hardware - EDBpriser - find og sammenlign de bedste priser og tilbud på danmarks bedste prisguide

I can also save up more money if needed.

You will need a new, trusted and 80+ certified PSU if you want any other card, or any new hardware component for that matter.

The bad news: you'll have a hard time finding even a low-end graphics card that will (officially) require less than a 350 or 400w power supply.

The good news is that it looks like the PSU is a standard ATX one, so replacing it would be straightforward. (The 140mm length is shorter than some, but I doubt that'll be an issue.)

The further bad news is that good power supplies aren't free. I suggest at least a 500W PSU from one of the trusted makers (Seasonic, Corsair, and Antec, although there are others).

Is there any chance of you building a new computer in the next year or so.....or after this upgrade, will you keep using this computer for awhile? The reason I ask is because if you are just needing one for this upgrade, you can get away with a lower power unit, but if you plan on building a new computer soon, you should get a better power supply that you can use for the new build. Thinking ahead will save you money.

I would probably go with this Corsair CX500M It has plenty of power, 80+ Bronze, and it's modular. Good stuff

Sorry I didn't get back sooner. Get the Corsair CX500M for 465 dkk, and I'm assuming that leaves roughly 1000 dkk for the video card? There are several on that site for around 1000 dkk. The best performer is the GTX 650 Ti...look at one of those.

Actually i found the CX600 cheap on this site Komplett.dk

The 600W costs 499 dkk and the 600M costs 530 dkk while the 500M costs 450 dkk and can you tell me what is the different between M and W version?

Also im just going to save more money because i want a good graphic card. and also how much is the gt 120m worth?

And i would also like your opinion if i should save money to get this one eVGA GeForce GTX 660 FTW Signature 2 (3 GB) - Grafikkort - Hardware - EDBpriser - find og sammenlign de bedste priser og tilbud på danmarks bedste prisguide

It have 3 gb which means i wont need a new card for a (long time)?

But i would rather have that you chose a card for me since you know more about it.

The "W" is just an indication of "watts" ex, 500 watts, 600 watts. The "M" after the number indicates that the power supply is modular, or semi-modular, which is worth the extra money. The 650Ti is a good card, but the 660 is better. You don't need the 3Gb model at all, since you are gaming at 1440x900. If you want a GTX 660, get a 1 or 2GB model. Also worth noting, it is a good idea to find out how much room you have internally in your case for a graphics card, and compare that with how long and wide the card actually is....you don't want to order something you don't have room for.
