Solved windows 7 not genuine fix build 7601

I keep getting this error. I was able to re-enter my product key and it took but when I restarted by computer, the error returned. Tried to re-enter product key but no luck. Tells me to go on-line to try and fix. Here is my MGAD report:

The SLIC table is irrelevant in this case - the license type is System Builder, and so valid on any motherboard.
The problem lies with the following error messages...

Licensing Data-->
C:\Windows\system32\slmgr.vbs(1333, 5) (null): The service has not been started.

HWID Data-->
N/A, hr = 0x8007000d

I don't recall ever seeing that error before - but I suspect that is relates to one of three services.

WMI or one of the Event services
Since there's also the HWAD error, it's likely to be the first.

Once complete, reboot, and post another MGADiag report.

I ran the fixit tool as requested. When it rebooted, I did not receive the error. My background did not come back buy my other indicators of this error are gone also. Looks like it fixed the issue. Thank you to you both. Learned a few new things today.

That looks fine now - you can get your background back by right-clicking on an empty area of the desktop and selecting Personalize.
