Solved hp 630 windows 7 x64 driver problem pls help me

'good day people, am new here, i just signed up today and i got this site from a serch engine when i was looking for help. . . i really hope you guys can help me. . .

my proble is that i formated my pc recently and on installing windows 7 x64, some drivers where missing and i can't locate them on my own online. pls is there anybody here that can here me with them??


the drivers missing are generic bluetooth adapter, pci device and sm bus controller. pls i really need help with them. thanks. . . .

hi Bjman , Welcome to the forums ,You can find the drivers here HP 630 Notebook PC -  Download drivers and software - HP Business Support Center I suggest you install the chipset drivers 1st then install the missing drivers you need

wow. . . tot i could navigate the site on my own but the site is larger than i tot. . . which of the intel chipset should i download, is it the installation utility driver?? and again,
pls can u give me details on how to go about it cos am completely new to this. . . thanks

These are the latest updates for your laptop to install them one by one go into the Device Manager right click on the device you want to install the update to and then left click you should see upgrade driver navigate to where the drivers are to which should be your downloads if you go to your computer on the left hand side downloads are there
pick the driver you need .

thanks guys for all ya support. . . i av been able to install them. . . but the only problem left
is that genetic bluetooth adapter is giving me error code 43. what does that mean and hw will i fix it??

Can you right click on the Generic BlueTooth device inside Device manager . Choose Properties . Inside the Properties window click on the Details tab . In the details tab on the drop down menu click on Hardware Ids take a prntscrn of that window and upload the photo with your reply

a friend of mine need generic bluetooth drive and wlan driver. . . the one that worked for me, will it work for him also?? the screen shot of his hardware id is attached
