I am currently Copying vast amounts of data from DVD to Hard Drive and periodically the Screen goes to black but I don't want this to happen, I need to monitor the Copying process at all times for prompts etc.

How do I do this please?

Thanks for the Forum!

Thanks very much!

Whilst doing that I noticed an Option to alter when the Computer ' goes to sleep '?

What's that about?

Thanks again

Hello again and many thanks for such a quick response!

Does it complete the Task first before going in to Sleep Mode?

e.g. Say I am copying a DVD to the Hard Drive, I leave the computer doing this task. Does it keep going until all files are copied (as instructed) before it goes in to Sleep Mode?

What needs to be done to take it OUT of Sleep Mode?

Thanks

Yes is would, the system will go to sleep after the allotted time of been idle (nothing happening) Usually a shake of the mouse or press of the keyboard will bring it out of sleep mode. Have a good look through the tutorial I posted above and it will explain all the power control options.
