Solved Can not print Acrobat pdf from IE10

After I upgraded IE8 to IE10 I can not print a pdf from IE10.

I can open a pdf while in IE10 just fine, but when I click on the print button in the upper left corner of the IE10 window that the pdf opened in the popup print box is corrupted and when I click on the ok button to print nothing happens.

After that when I close the IE10 window the pdf is in I get a message that IE has stopped working and two choices, close or look for a solution, I get this same box twice, both times chose close and then I get another IE10 window opened that says IE has closed the webpage to protect my computer - a malfunctioning or malicious add-on has caused IE to close this webpage.

I upgraded to the latest version of Adobe Flash, but that did not fix the problem. I have the latest version of Acrobat 9 Pro installed.

Does anyone have any ides how I can print pdf's from IE10 with Acrobat 9 Pro as my default pdf tool?

I can save pdf's just fine, they will just not print.

Had a search around, but not much on IE10 and printing pdf. You say they save fine, if you save to desktop, you can then print OK? You might try having the pdf open in Acrobat instead of the browser

Open Adobe Reader> Edit> Preferences> Internet> Make sure the box for Display PDF in browser is unchecked> OK

Open Internet Explorer> Tools> Manage Add-ons> On the Show drop down menu> All Add-ons> Select Adobe PDF Reader and click the Disable button

I am afraid I don't have either IE10 or Adobe

I am actually using Acrobat 9 Pro, but this worked, thanks!

The only draw back is that when I disable Acrobat 9 in IE10 it also disables the webpage conversion tools, but when I want to use that function I can just enable Acrobat 9, do my conversion and then disable it again.

Good, I see it as a workaround, but IE10 on 7 is new, so unsure if it is just an incompatibility, or something specific to you. Glad you have some options though
