Hey guys,

Last night tried to open a .qml file with notepad. All fine and well.

The problem is that I forgot to untick the "Always open file with...", and now by having a look around, all .qml files are opening with notepad.

Unfortunately, my system restore does not work, therefore I cannot revert the changes and the last registry back up I took with ERUNT and RegBak are dated 14/3/2013.

Now my questions are the following: Before associating .qml files with notepad, when tried to open them Windows kept asking me to choose a program. Now it doesn't. The association now is notepad.

1)Am I going to have any operational problems in my PC?

2)Do I have to revert back to the No-Association scenario with .qml files?

3)If yes how do I do that?

I would really appreciate your help and support on this one guys.

Thank you very much in advance.

TrDo.

P.S. I run on Win 7x64 and I have already read the related help article http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/19449-default-file-type-associations-restore.html

In addition, to add "Open with Notepad" to context menu to only temporarily open a file with Notepad. :)
