Solved Volume Control There are no active mixer devices available error

Alright so I just recently installed Windows XP on an old Laptop . It seems to appear my sound icon is missing every time I try to access volume control it gives me this display error

I tired to do the service. msc , didn't work.

Did you install the correct XP sound drivers for the PC? Also before the sound drivers, any motherboard chipset drivers.

All I did was Install XP and no Volume control came with it.

How do you check what model again would it be located under the laptop?

Open up a command prompt . Click on the rb: button type CMD , right click and choose Run as administrator . Input the commands below

wmic csproduct get vendor,name,identifyingnumber

Should I just download realtek HD Audio . This has always been a way to fix it . Every time I bumped into a problem like this. I am thinking of giving it a shot.

It Worked!!!, I downloaded the wrong one which caused the problem, Yes, Thank god something worked!!
