Is my watercooling set-up okay

Did you use distilled water only ?

Plain water has the best thermal conductivity. That is to say, it picks up and releases heat better than any other liquid. It's over 4-times higher than Propylene glycol and about 2.4 times higher than Ethylene Glycol. So you can see that by adding anything to water will reduce it's thermal conductivity.

Avoid automotive antifreezes and wetters that contain any silicone based compounds. If you want to add a wetter, use a drop of transparent liquid dish soap per 1/2 gallon of water. (This is NOT dishwasher soap.) And the best install in a sealed system would allow evacuating the system and injecting the coolant into the vacuum. Keep the vacuum less than about 28"Hg so that the coolant doesn't vaporize (boil) on injection. Removing the air will remove the carbon dioxide that distilled water absorbs to cause corrosion. (Turns it acidic.)

previous i was clocking a 4800mhz at 55c with mayhams i think thats what its called

now with distilled-water and a kill coil max temps i have seen 45c at 4800mhz which is buzzing

4.8 thats a nice overclock for the FX. for a 10C drop that's a nice investment.

Just tried 5ghz and my computer said no lol very unstable core temp was 55c i ignored the cpu temp and i have heard its dont fully work where as core temp does

Yeah that 5ghz is some rough water it was pretty tense when I was going there

I felt like I has a time bomb next to me but phew it is over now and back to good ole 4.812 ghz lol


Honestly didn't feel any faster then it already feels just got higher benches
