BSOD With Intel 320 120gb SSD [SF Log Included]

Hello!
SF Log included

Ignore text
So I've made a thread here last year when i bought my Intel SSD 320 - 120gb.

Last time i had BSOD when i installed it in my computer and the reason were my USB 3.0 Drivers.
This time i've done everything that i did last time to make it work, but it doesn't work.

I've tried the SF Diagnostic Tool , but it only say's some DLL file is not compable with my windows.

I've opened my last .DMP file with Bluescreenviewer and here are some pictures of it.
I had to take pictures with my phone because my computer is only turned on for about 30 seconds then i get an BSOD again.

If you have any other tips for me how to get a real LOG file (If theese dont help you guys) then please share them..

Pictures (I'm not really sure this has something to do with the bsod i'm getting right now but it's the last .DMP file.:

Have you checked for a firmware update?
Intel(R) Redirect

Yes. I have the Intel SSD Software installed on it and it say's i have the latest Firmware installed..

Edit: I can't open the SF Diagnostic Tool or The Intel SSD Toolbox now because of Windows Framework.
Some .DLL file isn't working with this windows or something it says.

Okay..this is some information a collected by one of our senior BSOD analysts. Go through them and tell us if you meet a resolution:

We've seen a number of BSOD issues with SSD's. Here's the information that I've compiled so far:
There's not a whole bunch available to test SSD's. The "easiest" test is to remove the SSD, install a platter-based hard drive, install Windows and test for stability that way.

Here's some suggestions:
- Update the SSD's firmware to the latest available version (VERY IMPORTANT!!!)
- Update the motherboard controllers drivers to the latest available version from the controller manufacturer (NOT the mobo manufacturer unless you can't find any on the controller manufacturer's website). Be sure to update ALL controllers on the motherboard! I STRONGLY suggest not using controller drivers older than mid-2012 with SSD's.
- Slow the memory (RAM) down to the next slower speed (I've only seen one person who claimed that this worked for them).
- Use any manufacturer's utilities that you may have. If you don't have any, then try this free one (I haven't used it myself): Crystal Dew World
....NOTE: Recently (Nov 2011) we had BSOD issues with the Marvell 91xx controller and an SSD. You may have to switch controllers also.
- Replace the SSD with a platter based hard drive and see if that stops the BSOD's. If it does, then it's likely that there's a problem with the SSD OR an incompatibility with your system.
06 Dec 2011 - This post tends to confirm issues with certain SSD chipsets and certain controllers - [SOLVED] cant find the cause of BSOD F4 - Tech Support Forum
05 Jan 2013 - very interesting post about difficulties with the Marvell controllers even when not connected to the SSD drives: Solved Win8 x64 PC reboots when waking from sleep
27 Feb 2013 - I'm starting to see much better reliability with SSD's using current (mid-2012 and later) storage drivers. I have withdrawn my objections to using these devices in everyday systems.

I've updated everything on the computer. And the SSD has the latest firmware. The motherboard is updated.

Last time it had something to do with the USB 3.0 Drivers. I'm not sure it's the same this time. But it's something..

I read it but thought you could grab the event log.

I think you should do this:
- Replace the SSD with a platter based hard drive and see if that stops the BSOD's. If it does, then it's likely that there's a problem with the SSD OR an incompatibility with your system.

Hi,

I would like to recommend you power cycle the SSD. I've seen a few cases where this solves apparently unsolvable BSOD.

See this here for instructions.

Regards,
Golden

I might be able to get you a LOG with SF Diagnostic Tool. I'm going to reinstall windows 7 and try to use the SF Tool.

I'll write in about 15 minutes.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but is the Intel SSD Firmware the problem? I'm not sure how to analyze the SF File.

I dont really see how that would help me when it's probably a driver issue and The answer is in the SF Log File? :)

A bugcheck F4 is a driver related error. Driver as in Hard drive - a storage device.

A list of things to do were recommended in many posts earlier, seeing that the latest firmware does not bring stability we also recommended switching the drive with a platter based HD.

Well I thought I would need new drivers or something. But okay I'll try the Power Cycle. so the SSD is freaking out on Its own.. Weird. Last time the problem was Usb 3.0 drivers.

Hi,

I would like to recommend you power cycle the SSD. I've seen a few cases where this solves apparently unsolvable BSOD.

See this here for instructions.

Regards,
Golden

Weirdly this worked. Well the computer hasn't shutdown yet! I'll wait a few hour and see if it's still working.

At first I didn't believe that mumbo jumbo but it worked. I must ask, Golden, what is happening to the computer when you do this? Or exactly what did I do?

Regards

I've now tried another harddrive that's not an SSD. The computer works good. Maybe i should buy a new SSD?

I've been looking on Samsung 840 120GB SSD it seems good and stable.
