Is this a problem with my connection?

Most of the time when i start up my computer like when i log on and go on Google Chrome, Firefox or IE... it takes a while to connect ( at least a minute)... i have a wireless connection........ Is it my router just getting the connection? i have a cable modem connected to my wireless router... i mean i dont mind waiting... but its starting to get annoying.... and i do not have any viruses or anything......

Logon and wait 5 minutes. Now start chrome, FF or IE. Same problem? Only the first page you're viewing?
