I have a similar problem. My router is connected via Ethernet to my PC and wirelessly to an HP printer and Raspberry Pi all in the same room.
The router also connects wirelessly to a laptop via a repeater in another room.
The laptop can see all devices on the network, but the PC can only see itself.
All devices show up on the router's GUI (192.168.0.1).
Any ideas would be welcome.

You need to be using the same "Workgroup" name on all those machines. By default XP uses MSHOME where Windows 7 uses Workgroup as the name for the Workgroup.

You need to change the Workgroup name to match on all machines in this network.

You also need to make sure that network discovery and file and printer sharing is turned on in the Windows 7 machines, go to the Network and Sharing Center then to the Advanced Sharing settings for that. :)

Are you able to ping the XP machines from your laptop?

Open a command prompt window and type the following exactly. Replace {IP Address} with the IP address of the machine that can't be seen

Code:
 ping {IP Address}

Once completed please post back the results as this can help determine what could be causing the problem

Many Thanks,
Josh
